Poslušajte novu Leninu pjesmu
Simpatična pobjednica ovogodišnjeg Eurosonga, Lena Meyer – Landrut, uskoro završava svoj album prvijenac na kojem će se naći i pjesma “Touch a new day”.
Debitantnski album nosit će naslov “My Cassette Player”, a na njemu je radio provjereni tim koji je skladao i pobjedničku pjesmu ovogodišnjeg Eurosonga, “Satellite”. Tu je prije svih, Stefan Raab, autor i član žirija u showu “Unser Star Fur Oslo” čiji je pobjednik bila upravo Lena.
Inače, Lena je na tronu mnogih glazbenih ljestvica u Njemačkoj, ali i širom Europe. Tim autora koji je radio na albumu vjeruje da će i on oboriti s nogu glazbene kritičare i Lenu promovirati u pravu europsku zvijezdu,

Žao mi je što neće iduće godine biti Ünser Star für Oslo…
Rodica koja živi u Njemačkoj rekla mi da se mislila prijaviti, ali izgleda da mora pričekati još koju godinu (osim ako ponovno ne pošalju Lenu)… Za Lenu se nadam da će se i iduće godine odlično plasirati jer ne zaslužuje da je se pamti kao nekoga tko je i pobijedio na ESC-u a i godine dana poslije kiksao…

Germany – The announcement of Lena’s intention to participate again in 2011 to defend her title, causes some delayed displeasure within the German television association ARD. The regional channel NDR, which is responsible for ESC had made this decision with Lena and Stefan Raab after the victory in Oslo.
Now other regional broadcasters, mostly the Bavarian channel BR have stated their displeasure and disappointment with this rapid decision. In a meeting of the ARD, the BR criticized the NDR for giving Stefan Raab too much of a say in the decision…
The biggest problem for the other channels is the fact, that a new participation of Lena means that there will be no “Our star for Oslo” shows in 2011. These were seen as a success especially because they brought young viewers to the ARD. Furthermore the radio stations that were closely included in 2010 and could thus gain popularity are not happy about the decision. The first polls by entertainment websites and interviews with experts and other musicians show that Lena’s second participation is not very popular in Germany.
It will be interesting to see whether the displeasure will result in a little revolution and whether we will see another participant for Germany than Lena Meyer-Landrut.
Sidenote: Surprisingly Lena has stated that she would like the next contest to be held in Berlin rather than her home town Hanover. The NDR will announce the host city and further plans for 2011 at the beginning of September.
